Configuring Gmail With eM Client

The step-by-step guide given below will take you through the process of Configuring eM client gmail settings easily.

Step 1:Initially, ensure that your computer (on which you’re using eM client) is connected to a stable internet connection.

Step 2:Next, close all the applications (except the eM Client application) on your computer.

Step 3:Click on the Menu icon on the application’s main screen.

Step 4:Choose the Accounts option from the list of options displayed on the screen. If it is not displayed, click Tools and select Accounts.

Step 5:Now, the New Account dialog box will open.

Step 6:Click the down arrow icon beside the Automatic Setup option under the Set up an account section.

Step 7:Type your Gmail account’s email address in the Email field.

Step 8:Check to ensure that the address is entered correctly.

Step 9:Click the Start or Start Now button beside the Email field.

Step 10:Now, the New Account dialog box prompting you to enter your account details will open.

Step 11:Type your account’s username and account address in the fields below Account details and click Next.

Step 12:Choose the service you wish to access using your Gmail account on the Finish screen.

Step 13:Finally, click the Finish button.

Step 14:Now, a browser page automatically opens on your computer screen.

Step 15:Select the Gmail account that you wish to use with eM Client on the opened browser screen.

Step 16:Click the ALLOW button.

Step 17:Once your account is configured with eM Client, the “You are all set!” message will be displayed on the browser screen.

Step 18:Now, return to the eM Client application screen.

Step 19:Access your Gmail account as per your needs.
