- Step 1: Launch the main interface of the EM Client application on your computer.
- Step 2: Click the Menu tab and then select the Tools option followed by the Accounts option.
- Step 3: Now, the New Account dialog window will appear on the screen.
- Step 4: To manually configure your email account, click the Mail tab and specify the account type.
- 1. Account Type:
- 2. Gmail Outlook
- 3. Yahoo
- 4. Exchange
- 5. Other
- Step 5: Select the Other option and click the Next button.
- Step 6: As soon as you see the New Account dialog window, type the correct email address of your account in the Email Address field and click Next.
- Step 7: Select the IMAP protocol, fill the following options, and click the Next button.
- 1.Incoming Server
- 2.User Name
- 3.Password
- Step 8: Type the correct hostname in the Outgoing Server field and check if you have typed the correct information in the User Name and Password fields.
- Step 9: Click the Next button in the Outgoing Server dialog box.
- Step 10: If the OK message is displayed, click Next in the Test Configuration dialog window.
- Step 11: After typing your full name in the Your Name field, click the Next button.
- Step 12: The ‘You’re almost done’ message will display on the screen.
- Step 13: Once you select the Finish option, your email account will be added to the EM Client application.
- Step 14: After you complete the email configuration on the EM Client, navigate to the Menu list and select Tools -> Accounts.
- Step 15: Now, the Accounts dialog window will open.
- Step 16: Click the SMTP tab, go to the Server section, and set the correct information in the Host, Port, and Security Policy fields.
- Step 17: Click the IMAP tab and provide valid information in the required fields. Select then OK option in the Accounts dialog window.
