Step 1:Make sure to enter the correct Yahoo credentials while logging.

Step 2:If you enter the wrong username or password, then there is a chance for the login error to occur.

Step 3:You will be prompted to complete the recovery process if you keep entering the wrong credentials more than the allocated chances.

Step 4:The recovery process will help you to create a new password for your Yahoo account.

Step 5:To create the new password, you will be asked to complete the verification process.

Step 6:The verification process is nothing but a four or five-digit code, or any keyword that will be sent to the phone number (registered during the account configuration for the first time) or the recovery email by the Yahoo mail.

Step 7:You have to enter that verification code in the given field and click the Continue or OK button.

Step 8:In case, if your mobile number is deactivated or if you have forgotten the password of your recovery email, then you will not be able to perform the verification process.
