- Step 1:Make sure to enter the correct Yahoo credentials while logging.
- Step 2:If you enter the wrong username or password, then there is a chance for the login error to occur.
- Step 3:You will be prompted to complete the recovery process if you keep entering the wrong credentials more than the allocated chances.
- Step 4:The recovery process will help you to create a new password for your Yahoo account.
- Step 5:To create the new password, you will be asked to complete the verification process.
- Step 6:The verification process is nothing but a four or five-digit code, or any keyword that will be sent to the phone number (registered during the account configuration for the first time) or the recovery email by the Yahoo mail.
- Step 7:You have to enter that verification code in the given field and click the Continue or OK button.
- Step 8:In case, if your mobile number is deactivated or if you have forgotten the password of your recovery email, then you will not be able to perform the verification process.
- Step 9:Most importantly, you will be prompted to enter the verification code only if you have enabled the two steps verification option for your Yahoo mail.
- Step 10:If you keep receiving a notification to enter the verification code while logging in to your Yahoo account, then it is better to disable the two steps verification option.
- Step 11:Once you have disabled the two steps verification option, you will no longer be prompted to complete the verification process to access your Yahoo account.
- Step 12:To disable this option, first, sign in to your Yahoo account using the login credentials.
- Step 13:Click the Settings option.
- Step 14:In the Settings window, locate the Two steps verification code option.
- Step 15:Click the Disable button beside it.
- Step 16:On the confirmation dialog box, click the Save Changes button.
- Step 17:Now, you can access Yahoo Mail without security verification.
