HOW TO SETUP THUNDERBIRD FOR YAHOO MAIL:

step 1:Open the browser and go to your Yahoo mail.
step 2:Log in with your Yahoo email address and password.
step 3:Scroll to the bottom right side of the page and click to turn on the “Allow apps that use less secure sign-in” option.
step 4:Now, click on the Start menu and select the Thunderbird mail icon to open it.

step 5:Click on the Email option under the Create a new account section.

step 6:A popup message will appear on your window saying, “Would you like a new email address?.”

step 7:From the bottom of the page, choose to skip this and use my existing email button.
step 8:The Mail Account Setup window will display on the screen and ask you to enter your Yahoo email address and password.
step 9:Now, type your name, email address, and password in the respective fields and click on the Continue button.

step 10:From the next window, you need to select the storage type for your mail account.
step 11:Now, click on one of the options to select the storage type. If you want to use IMAP, then select the IMAP option. Otherwise select the POP3 option.
