- Step 1:If your Yahoo email address is your Facebook ID, you can restore access to the Yahoo accounts.
- Step 2:To do this, open the web browser and navigate to the Yahoo Sign-In helper page.
- Step 3:Enter your Facebook ID in the Yahoo ID field and click the Continue button.
- Step 4:Follow the on-screen prompts to access your Yahoo account.
- Step 5:After logging in to your Yahoo account, create a new password.
- Step 6:Alternatively, you can access and recover the Yahoo password by logging in to the Yahoo page through the Facebook app.
- Step 7:On your computer, launch the Facebook app or navigate to the Facebook Sign-In page.
- Step 8:Enter your Yahoo login id and password in the required fields.
- Step 9:Click the "Login" button to open your Facebook account.
- Step 10:Now, type "Yahoo Mail" in the search box and press the Enter button to go to the Yahoo Sign-in page.
- Step 11:Click the Use App button available in the Yahoo Mail page box and click the Sign-In button to access the "Yahoo Login" page.
- Step 12:Click your email address displayed on the page.
- Step 13:If not, click the Add Account button to specify the Yahoo email account.
- Step 14:Click the "I don't remember password" option.
- Step 15:Enter your Yahoo email ID in the required field and click the Next button to proceed with the password recovery process.
- Step 16:Make sure to enter the valid email ID in the previous step to recover your Yahoo account.
- Step 17:Choose the recovery option based on the available methods.
- Step 18:You can choose Mobile phone number recovery, alternate email address (backup email), or security questions.
- Step 19:If your phone number, is already registered, choose the Mobile phone number recovery option and enter your phone number.
- Step 20:You will receive a one-time password (OTP) through the Message app on your mobile.
- Step 21:Enter the secret digit in the required field to access your Yahoo email account.
- Step 22:After logging in to your account, reset the password.
