- Step 1:Unlock your iPhone and launch the Settings application.
- Step 2:Select the Passwords & accounts tab and touch on the Add account option.
- Step 3:Now, select the Add mail account option.
- Step 4:Enter your name, mail.com email address, and password of your account.
- Step 5:Choose IMAP as the account type.
- Step 6:Enter imap.mail.com as the incoming server address.
- Step 7:Type your mail.com email address and password.
- Step 8:Select the Outgoing mail server tab and enter smtp.mail.com as the SMTP hostname.
- Step 9:Checkmark the Email checkbox. Click on the Save button.
- Step 10:Verify whether the settings you have entered are correct.
- Step 12:Select the email address that you have newly added and go to the Advanced section.
- Step 13:Check whether you have entered the following details under the Incoming server tab.
- Step 14:Make sure that you have turned on Use SSL.
- Step 15:Select Identity check method using password.
- Step 16:Enter 993 as the server port number.
- Step 17:Now, go back to the previous screen. Under Outgoing server, click on smtp.mail.com.
- Step 18:Ensure that the details are correct.
- Step 19:Enable on Use SSL. Select Identity check as password.
- Step 20:Enter 587 as the Server port number.
- Step 21:Click on the Done button at the top-right corner.
- Step 22:Now, reboot your iPhone to activate the settings.
- Step 23:Once you have configured your mail.com IMAP settings iPhone, you will start receiving email messages.
