Time Warner Cable Email Settings For Outlook 2013

Step 1:
- Step 1:On the home screen of your computer, search for the Outlook 2013 email client and double-click its icon.
- Step 2:This will launch the main interface of the Outlook 2013 email client.

- Step 1:Click the File tab at the upper-left corner of the screen.

- Step 1:In the Account Information window, click the Info tab in the left panel and select the Add Account option in the main panel.

- Step 1:When the Add Account wizard opens, select the radio button beside the ‘Manual setup or additional server types’ option and click Next.

User Information

- Step 2:Email Address - Your Time Warner email address
Server Information
- Step 1:Account Type - IMAP or POP
- Step 2:Incoming Mail Server - mail.twc.com
- Step 3:Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - mail.twc.com
Logon Information
- Step 1:User Name - Your Time Warner email address
- Step 2:Password - Your Time Warner email account password
- Step 3:If necessary, select the Remember Password option.
Step 7:
- Step 1:Click More Settings.
Outgoing Server tab:
- Step 2:The following options have to be selected.
- Step 3:My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
- Step 4:Use same settings as my incoming server
Advanced tab:
- Step 1:Incoming server - 993 (IMAP) or 995 (POP)
- Step 2:Choose SSL from the ‘Use the following type of encrypted connection’ menu.
- Step 3:Outgoing server (SMTP) - 587
- Step 4:Choose TLS from the ‘Use the following type of encrypted connection’ drop-down menu.
- Step 5:Click OK.
Step 8:
- Step 1:Click Close in the Test Account Settings window.
- Step 2:When you see the “You’re all set” message, click Finish.
